MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (MIA)
Allied Aviation History at MIA:
Allied Aviation has been the provider of fuel system management and operation services at Miami International Airport (MIA) since 2004. The contract for these services was publicly place out for bid and Allied was the successful operator.
The MIA fuel system supplies fuel to the entire Miami airport which is a hub location for American Airlines and an international destination for many domestic and international airlines.
Allied, as operator of this fuel system, is ISO certified (International Organization of Standardization) in two categories; ISO 9002 which sets standards for quality management systems and ISO 14001 which sets standards in environmental compliance. These two standards assure that the service levels that our customers receive are above industry standards and that allied is committed to the safe, environmentally sound operation at Miami.
Since Allied secured this contract at Miami, we have assisted in the implementation of a new jet fuel refueling station, a new pump automation system and new hydrant systems that supply jet fuel to Concourses D and J. Concourse J will have the capacity to accommodate several A380 aircraft as Miami International Airport continues to expand and grow into the 21st century.
