Allied Aviation has successfully started operations inBogotá, Colombia. Allied will be operating under thename Servicio de Aviacion Allied Bogotá, SAS(“Allied Bogotá”). Allied Bogotá will be performingManagement and Operations of one of the fuelfacilities as well as into-plane fueling at El DoradoInternational Airport (BOG). This operation expandsAllied into South America, with further expansionplanned early in 2013. These new operationsdemonstrate our ability to continue to grow ouractivities both domestically and internationally.

This new business venture constitutes approximately 43% of the entire airport’s commercial fuelingoperations. Allied’s capitalinvestment into the BOGinfrastructure includes thebuilding of a new fuel facilityand hydrant system. Uponcompletion Allied Bogotá willoperate 100% of the BOGfueling operations. AlliedBogotá is responsible forfueling over 90 flights a dayand over 80 million gallons ayear.

El Dorado International Airport is an international airport located in Bogotá, Colombia. It is rankedamong the top 50 world’s busiest airports in terms of: passenger traffic (ranked third in Latin Americawith 20,427,603 passengers in 2011), cargo traffic (ranked first in Latin America and 33rd worldwidewith 648,221 metric tons in 2011) and traffic movements (ranked second in Latin America and 45thworldwide with 304,330 aircraft movements in 2011). As such it is the largest airport in Colombia andthe main international and domestic air gateway in the country, serving as an important hub for Avianca(the national flag carrier of Colombia), Copa Airlines Colombia, LAN Colombia, Satena, EasyFly andother cargo companies. It is managed by Operadora Aeroportuaria Internacional (OPAIN), aconsortium composed of Colombian construction and engineering firms and the Swiss FlughafenZürich AG.
El Dorado is the most important airport in Colombia, accounting for 49% of the total air traffic in thecountry. It handles all domestic and international flights into Bogotá and boasts the world’s third largestlanding field 6.9 square kilometers (1,700 acres) of land.
