Infrastructure Development And Consulting Services

Allied offers the expertise, resources and knowledge to assist in the design, construction, and financing of aviation fueling facilities and associated infrastructure development projects. Allied has also served as a consultant to airport authorities on design and modernization projects.

In addition, Allied has acted as project manager and consultant for the design and construction of many of these fuel facilities worldwide. Recently, Allied has held a significant role in the development and expansion of the fuel facilities at both the Toronto (Pearson), Montreal (Dorval), Sacramento, San Antonio, and Dallas Love Field airports. We have extensive experience in dealing with the Airport Authorities and regularly attend the design and construction meetings related to the airport expansions.

The following are photographs of recent facility upgrades and tank farm construction across North America.

Dallas/ Fort Worth International Airport, Dallas, TX

Project Description: Design and construct two (2) 80,000 BBL Tanks, install a new Endress and Hauser Fuels Manager Operating System including Automatic Tank Gauging, install a Hansa Leak Detection System for the entire hydrant system which includes 39 miles of piping, install eight new valve vaults containing 14” and 20” double block & bleed valves which was accomplished while maintaining constant fuel flow to the entire Airport.

Newark Liberty International Airport, Newark, NJ

Project Description: Design and construct three (3) 2,000,000 gallon tanks in addition to the original 24 Jet storage tanks. These tanks were completed in the spring of 2002. The construction of these tanks was in concert with the Port Authority as well as their contractors. These tanks meet all NJDEP environmental standards and are catholically protected. These tanks have automatic tank gauging.

Sacramento Airport, Sacramento, CA

Project Description: Design and construct three (3) 1.7 million gallon Jet-A Tanks with a 12,000 gallon AST Avgas tank. The fuel system is supplied via pipeline. The facility contains two oil water separators, a fuel testing lab facility. The facility has containment walls surrounding each tank that will hold 42,000 barrels for each tank. Scully System (overfill protection system) is a grounding system, when the fuel reaches the grounding probe the flow of fuel stops.
